This Labor Day Weekend gear up, get on your bike and join the Covington Community Bike Ride — a four mile route through Covington’s historic neighborhoods. Whether you are an enthusiast or a casual rider, everyone is welcome.

The ride is an initiative of Main Street Covington, C-4 Cycling Club, Newton Recreation Commission and the Tourism Division — Chamber of Commerce. It was founded on a commitment of promoting good health, reducing carbon emissions and building community

Bike rides are held on the first Sunday of every month. Riders depart at 3 p.m. from downtown Covington.

For this month’s ride every rider will receive a Buy Local canvas back pack.
