Eastridge Community Church launches Life’s Healing Choices campaign

Eastridge Community Church will launch Life’s Healing Choices, an eight-week campaign, on Sunday, Sept. 20, at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

A sour economy, job loss, wayward children, foreclosures and general concerns about the world around us all contribute to relational stress in families and cause real-life pressures. Hope seems to be at an all-time low. The Life’s Healing Choices campaign is designed to help people find hope in life’s struggles and will run through Sunday, Nov. 8.

The Life’s Healing Choices curriculum is based on the Beatitudes taught by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount, which is found in Matthew 5-7. On Sunday mornings, the pastors of Eastridge will deliver messages based on the principles in the Beatitudes, and the community will hear real-life stories from others who have found hope in Jesus Christ. In addition to the Sunday morning services, small groups will be offered in various locations and times throughout the week.

"So many people in our community are hurting and need to find hope and freedom," said Scott Moore, Lead Pastor of Eastridge. "Real hope is found in Jesus Christ, and we feel that the Lord is leading us to bring as much hope to our church and community as possible."
