Holiday ("It’s Yours"), Atlanta hometown favorite F.L.Y.("Swag Surfin"), Dear Jayne ("Fall Back," "Rain") and a fun kid’s activity area on Saturday, July 25, from noon to 3 p.m. on the Plaza.

"Meet the BEAT" is presented by Metro PCS and offers a free concert event on the Stonecrest Stage and much more to celebrate the back to school season in style. Get up close and personal with your favorite 95.5 The BEAT DJs, like Murph Dawg and CJ in the Morning, K-Dub, Maverick, Mami Chula, Johnny D, Kenny Hamilton, Traci Steele and Mo Reilley.

Enjoy the fun expanded Kids Zone that features three different moon-walk stations, and then check out all the sponsors that include Metro PCS, Rimco, and Mountain Dew.

Mountain Dew’s "Go Green" tent is a perfect place to bring your empty Mountain Dew and other Pepsi product bottles to redeem for items like Music Download Cards, BEAT Birthday Bash 10 tickets and autographed items from Meet The BEAT artists. Upon redeeming your Pepsi product bottles, each person will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win an Alienware Area-51 Notebook Laptop. The more bottles you bring, the more items you receive.

95.5 The BEAT Program Director Cagle said, "We are excited to give our listeners an amazing free event and the opportunity to meet their favorite Beat DJs. From the concert featuring Pleasure P to J. Holiday, F.L.Y. and Dear Jayne, there’s something for everyone at Meet The BEAT."

Pleasure P, known as Marcus Ramone Cooper, is a contemporary R&B singer who experienced success as a member of the group Pretty Ricky before embarking on a solo career in 2007. In 2008 he released his solo debut single, "Did You Wrong," which quickly charted on the Billboard Hot 100. Pleasure P’s career received a boost by being featured in the second single from Flo Rida’s album "R.O.O.T.S," gaining much publicity from his presence on its guest list. Pleasure P also released a 2008 EP entitled "Boyfriend #2," which featured "Did You Wrong" and a promo single "Boyfriend #2," released digitally and as an LP disc. His solo debut album, The Introduction of Marcus Cooper, was released on June 9, 2009.

"The reason I named it that is because Pretty Ricky introduced you all to Pleasure P, but now Pleasure P is going to introduce you to Marcus Cooper, which is my government name," said the 24-year-old. "This time, I’m in my own lane musically -— I’m grown up now. I’m talking about things that average R&B guys don’t talk about but that average people can relate to. My music is classier and I’ll tell you exactly how it is."

J. Holiday is an R&B singer who came to prominence in 2007 with his breakthrough hit "Bed" peaking at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. Born in Washington D.C., J. Holiday’s career was jumpstarted by a meeting with Anthony Tate who signed him and his group "295" to Capitol Records. Upon meeting with executives from Capitol it was decided that Holiday would be a solo act. Round 2 is the second studio album by contemporary R&B singer J. Holiday. The album was released on March 10, 2009, and is his follow-up to his Gold-selling debut album Back of My Lac’. The first single is "It’s Yours." The album sold 55,000 units in its first week and debuted at Number 4 on the Billboard 200.

The Mall at Stonecrest features Dillard’s, JCPenney, Kohl’s, Macy’s and Sears. The center offers over 130 specialty stores, a 16 screen AMC Theatre and the Pavilion Food Court.
