Pet of the Week - June 19

Take me home: The Newton County Animal Shelter has two mixed breed blonde pups, about 8 months old, as their pets of the week. You know the saying, "Blondes have more fun." Also available for adoption are an Aussie mix, 8 weeks old, black and merle; a 1-year-old blonde Chihuahua wearing a blue and pink collar with hearts; a black Lab mix; a 12-month-old Aussie mix, black and tan; a pointer mix, tri-colored, a 7-month-old brindle and black mixed breed; a blood hound, 1-2 years old; a very friendly border collie mix with red collar; a shepherd mix that really needs a good home (He was abandoned), an adult cocker spaniel, black; and a box, 2 years old, green collar, good on a leash. The shelter also has beautiful cats and kittens for adoption.
