Putting on the green:
Dozens of golfers took advantage of the gorgeous weather Thursday to participate in the Covington-Newton County Chamber of Commerce's 15th Annual Golf Tournament at Indian Creek Golf Club. Several chamber members sponsored holes and highlighted their businesses while offering snacks, giveaways and games for those trying to stay under par. The game was played in a scramble format with prizes for the top three scores.
