Feb. 4 Pet of the Week

The Newton County Animal Shelter's pet of the week is a gray and white long-haired cat, about 1-2-years-old. The shelter has other cats and kittens available for adoption. Also the shelter has a 3-month-old, mixed-breed, puppy, black; a blue heeler/Aussie mix; a black Lab mix; a brown and white terrier mix, 1-yar-old; another Lab mix, tan; a shepherd mix, black; an adult hound mix with blue collar; a blue merle with black collar; a 2-year-old cocker spaniel, black; an adult brindle-colored dog named Hunter; a white and tan Akita; two 8-month-old Spitz-mix dogs, one named Bert and one named Ernie; a Newfoundland; a chow mix; and other mixed breeds. The shelter has cats and kittens available for adoption.
