Mr. and Mrs. James Louis Henning

 Anca Amalia Stanescu of Buford and James Louis Henning of Covington were married May 31 at Buford First United Methodist Church with Sid Woodruff officiating.

 The bride is the daughter of Ben and Nina Stanescu of Buford. The groom is the son of Warren and Betty Henning of Covington and grandson of Aileen Sens of San Antonio, Texas.

 The bride given in marriage by her father and wore a vintage-inspired 2007 Pronovias gown from Spain. The decorations featured red and glass vintage ropes with dripping crystals.

 Serving as maid of honor was Carina Stanescu of Buford. Bridesmaids were Katie Henning of Covington, Becky Lascau of Buford, Olga Tulei of Swanee, Ema Ardelean of Snellville, Beth Henning of Covington and Roxana Costiuc of Fuquay, N.C. They wore WToo strapless trumpet gowns.

 Best man was Timothy Henning of Covington. Groomsmen were Matthew Henning of Covington, Daniel Foose of Texas, Darius Stanescu of Buford, David Stanescu, Jonathan Stanescu of Buford and Justin Bardin of Wickenberg, Ariz.

Carina Stanescu and Roxana Costiuc sang "My Chains Are Gone" by Chris Tomlin. Both fathers said a few words of blessing.

The reception was held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Buford. The couple honeymooned in Tuscany, Italy, and now reside in Quantico, Va., where James is going through Marine Corps TBS and Anca is finishing a nursing degree.
