Our thoughts...King's legacy

We celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. this week. Dr. King was a great, but not a perfect, man.

In the history of mankind, less than perfect men have had the courage, the determination, the vision and the strength to rise up and challenge and change the world for the better.

The true testament of Dr. King’s legacy is being presented on the world stage this week also.

We admire Dr. King because he did go to the mountaintop, he did see the good and the bad, he kept going because he believed that truly we could be a land of equal opportunity for all of our peoples -- that one day people would not be judged by the color of their skin, but by their accomplishments.

 Thank you Dr. King.
