Mr. Wilber (Piggy) Reynolds was born June 22, 1936 in Covington, Georgia, to the late Mr. & Mrs. Ben (Vera Bell Hamp) Reynolds Sr. He was preceded in death by his wife of thirty years, Mrs. Thelma N. Reynolds, four brothers; Mr. Horace J. Reynolds, Mr. Henry J. Reynolds, Mr. Calvin C. Reynolds and Mr. Ben Reynolds Jr.

Piggy attended Washington Street High School in Covington, Georgia. He was a member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall and received a certificate to go out and spread the word of God to all who would listen. Later in life he started attending Baptist Churches until his health declined.

Piggy loved nature, his family and his community. He had a great thirst for knowledge in history and government. He was often sought by family and friends for advice on government or politics.

Piggy, as he was affectionately called was no stranger to hard work. He had several jobs as a farmer, laborer, Covington Police Officer,  Rock Quarry and he retired from Hanson Aggregate as a supervisor of equipments.

On Monday, April 7, 2014, the gates of heaven opened wide to welcome him in the arms of the almighty.

He leaves to cherish his memories three sister; Mr. & Mrs. Charles (Dora) Brown, Covington, Georgia, Mr. & Mrs. Alfred (Sweetie) Jones and Mrs. Nina B.
