I have so much t be thankful for. God has continued to bless me throughout the years. This Thanksgiving, I have so much to be grateful for.

Over Spring Break, I lost my dad. One of the many things I am thankful for is the amount of time I shared with my dad. I am thankful that my father and I had a good relationship. We spent many evenings talking about soccer, watching our favorite show (“NCIS”) together, and hanging out by the fireplace. I am so thankful for the little moments I spent with him, I treasure those moments the most, because they make the best memories.

I am thankful for my loving family that is always supportive. I am lucky enough to have people that care about me, and love me unconditionally. I am especially thankful for my mom, who remains strong and is my best friend, my sister who is always willing to listen to me when I need to vent, my brother, who is always there to lend a helping hand, and my grandmother, who keeps me laughing. I am so blessed to call these people my family.

I am fortunate enough to have a roof over my head, and know where my next meal is coming from. Many people do not realize that there are people in the world who do not have that luxury. I am grateful that my mom has a job and we are able to afford food and shelter.

There is so much to be thankful for. I have been blessed with a wonderful life. It amazes me how lucky I truly am. I am thankful for everything that God has given me.
