The Georgia Revolution soccer team is still jockeying for position atop the Sunshine Division of the South Region after Friday’s tie.

The Revolution picked up a 2-2 draw against the first-year Tampa Marauders FC at the Naimoli Family Athletic and Intramural Complex in Tampa.

Georgia is now 2-1-1 and has six points, still behind the Jacksonville United, and one point ahead of Tampa, which picked up a 1-0 defeat over Cape Coral a week before hosting the Revs.

The Cape Coral Hurricanes have yet to tally a win, tying Jacksonville May 18. Georgia will look to get three more points, traveling to Cape Coral for its final road match of the season today at 3 p.m.

The Revolution return home versus Miami United SC at 7:30 p.m. Georgia will then finish up its regular season, hosting Cape Coral at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29 and Tampa Bay, 7:30 on Saturday, July 6.
