There will be a little bit of Covington in Atlanta this year, with the donation of 10 trees to the capital and the governor's mansion from Berry's Tree Farm.

Over the last decade Chuck Berry, owner of the farm, said they have donated several trees to Atlanta for the holiday season and this year is no exception. Berry donated a variety of all the trees available at the farm, including Leyland Cyprus, Virginia pine, Fraser fir and Carolina sapphire, ranging in height from 6-10 feet tall.

Governor Nathan Deal and First Lady Sandra Deal will kick off the holiday season at the mansion at 6:30 p.m. tonight with the tree lighting ceremony. This also begins the annual Christmas tours of the mansion. For more information on the tours, call (404) 261-1776; for more on Berry's Tree Farm, call (770) 786-5833.
