Hannah DeBoer and Timothy Sheffield of Covington announce the birth of their daughter McKinsley Grace Sheffield Oct. 7 at Newton Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds and 1 ounce and was 19 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Carin DeBoer of Covington and Jeff DeBoer of Conyers. Maternal great-grandparents are Ann and Jim Brooks of Oxford and Shirley and Bob DeBoer of Brandon, Wisc.

Paternal grandparents are Tracy and Tony Butler of Mobile, Ala., and Kenneth and Jodi Sheffield of Sale Creek, Tenn. Paternal great-grandparents are Dorothy Sheffield of Covington and David Sheffield Sr. of Covington. Paternal great-great-grandfather is Gene Sexton
