The trial of Vichai Lee, the 19 year old who is charged with rape, child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes and incest, is set to begin the week of Oct. 8.

Lee was originally charged in 2009 when he was just 16 years old. He has spent little time in jail, bonding out on the charges almost immediately.

He will be defended by a Newton County Public Defender. Assistant District Attorney Peter H. Boehm will try the case for the state.
