The Newton County School System is cancelling all after-school activities today because of the inclement weather warnings.

However, the ASAP [After School Academic Program] program in elementary, middle, and high schools will continue to operate.

"Parents of ASAP students may wish to pick up their student(s) at school or await their arrival at home at the normal time via school bus," Superintendent Gary Mathews said in an email.
