Good medical care not cheap

Dear Editor: I read in The Covington News that the Newton County Medical facility is in the black, making a profit and that's good news. Doesn't surprise me though. I walked in the Patient Emergency area the other day, after a home accident and walked out about three hours later after receiving excellent treatment and care. A few days later, I received a statement for $3,579.21. Just like freedom is not free, neither is good medical care.
