Interstate 20 eastbound near mile marker 89 - in between exit 88 (Almon Road) and exit 90 (Covington) - is blocked and the roadway is obstructed, according to the Covington-Newton County 911 Center. Expect delays and avoid the area if possible, the center says on its Facebook page.
