Covington Diner receives SAR Flag commendation

The George Walton Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution has recognized the Covington Diner for exemplary flag display, in particular for following proper flag etiquette with illumination of the United States flag during night display.

Part of the mission of the SAR is to draw attention to those businesses and organizations which follow appropriate flag display. SAR chapter president Bill Dobbs (right) is shown presenting the official flag commendation certificate to Covington Diner owner Nick Lambrou (left). The Covington Diner is located at 6238 Turner Lake Road and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
