Celebrating cultures of the world

CultureFest 2012 was in downtown Covington on Saturday.

Oxford College of Emory University and Downtown Covington hosted the fest, in Square Park, from 2 to 5 p.m.

Attendance was free and open to all families. Participants played games, worked on crafts and heard music from around the world.

Oxford students were out helping guests learn about different cultures from around the world.

In addition, students performed a Latin dance, an Indian dance, and instrumental and vocal performances.
