A vehicle fire on I-20 westbound near mile marker 97 has blocked off all but one lane.

Newton County Sheriff's Lt. Tyrone Oliver said around 7:55 a.m. that one lane had been opened. Traffic flow is slow, and some drivers are exiting at exit 98 to avoid the congestion.

The blockage is not do to an accident but just a single vehicle fire, so all lanes should be open shortly, Oliver said.
