Embattled incumbent Chairman Kathy Morgan squared off against county employee Marcus Jordan in another race with county-wide implications, but Jordan won with 3,368 votes and will face Republican Keith Eliis in November.

"It's relaxing now that it's over with and I just want to thank God, my family and friends and all my supporters and Ms. Morgan for a great race, and I look forward to working with her in the near future," Jordan said.
