Intoxicated man allegedly kidnapped

Officers were dispatched last Friday in reference to a possible kidnapping.
While law enforcement was on route to the intersection of Smith Store Road and Oak Hill Road, the complainant said he was allegedly being kidnapped by a taxi cab driver.

Officers concluded the complainant had allegedly been drinking and was very intoxicated at the time of the call.


Man arrested for open container and DUI
A man slumped over in his car was arrested for having an open container and a DUI.

Officers spotted the suspicious vehicle last Tuesday on Kirkland Road when they were patrolling the area. They identified the man as Eddie Santana Jr.

Santana allegedly had a six pack of Bud Light on the passenger seat. He was allegedly unable to provide his information without help from officers.

Law enforcement placed Santana under arrest as he allegedly had a difficult time walking on his own and almost fell while officers escorted him to a patrol car.

Santana was then given tests to measure his level of intoxication. Due to his high level of intoxication, Santana had to be cleared by a doctor to be booked.

After he was transported to the emergency room to see a doctor, he was then transported back to the Sheriff's Office and booked for Open Container of Alcohol and DUI.


Four men arrested for burglary
A woman in the Hinton Chase Parkway subdivision reported a possible burglary in progress on Friday.

The complainant said there were allegedly four black males at her house, walking around the house and ringing the doorbell. When she called 911, she said they left in a red four-door passenger car.

The four alleged burglars were identified as Dominique D. Watson, Quintravius Hamm, Robert F. White and Michael Alexander Johnson. They were all arrested on charges of Criminal Attempt/ Felony Burglary, Obstruction of Officers and Theft By Receiving Property Stolen in Another State.


Woman receives threatening phone call
A Covington woman said she received a threatening phone call on Friday from an unidentified person.

Mattie Thomas told police an alleged black male had called her and told her he was coming to get her.

Thomas also told police there were children in the background laughing and playing.
