Hundreds of young swimmers, from 8 years old to teens, took to the water at Johnson Park for the annual summer league championship. The Rockdale Swim League has more than 400 kids from six teams - the Covington Y, Deer Run, Brentwood, Honey Creek, Meadowbrook and Westchester Lakes. The Georgia Recreation and Parks Association sanctioned event gave young swimmers the chance to compete at the state level in Carrollton at the end of July.
