Oxford resident selected as state finalist for Miss Georgia USA 2013

Oxford resident Charlia Larsha was selected as a state finalist in the Miss Georgia USA pageant.

A graduate of Newton County High School, Larsha is a sophomore at Gordon College working towards her associate's degree in business administration. After completing her associate's degree, Larsha plans to pursue a bachelor's degree in business management with a minor in finances. She is currently employed at the KFC in Conyers.

Larsha said she is excited and honored to be named as a finalist.

"The Georgia pageant system is one of the premier state pageant in the United States and I am proud to have been selected from among the hundreds of applicants who were processed," Larsha said.

If Larsha wins Miss Georgia USA 2013, she will go on to represent the state to compete for the national title of Miss USA 2013.

The Miss Georgia USA 2013 pageant will be held November 15 through 17 in Cartersville, Ga.

To compete, Larsha needs sponsors. Sponsorships are necessary to cover the costs of the pageant weekend like the hotel, meals for three days and production costs. Sponsorships can be made in denominations of $25, $75 or $100.
