The Walton County Boys and Girls Clubs are hosting a "Run for Kids" 5K and one-mile fun run May 26 at Felker Park in Monroe, 725 South Madison Avenue, to support programs and activities at the Stevens and Social Circle clubs.

The one-mile fun run starts at 7:45 a.m., while the "Run for Kids" 5K follows at 8 a.m.; the race is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier. Pre-registration costs $15 while registration on race day costs $20. Families of four can pre-register for $50 and high school cross country teams are eligible to receive a discount.

Anyone can register at www.active.com or make checks payable to the Walton County Boys and Girls Clubs. Envelopes must be postmarked by May 16 and should be marked as such:
