The CSX railroad crossing at Emory Street will be closed from 9 a.m. Monday through 6 p.m. Tuesday for maintenance.

The closing date has continually changed due to weather and other scheduling concerns.

In addition, the CSX crossing at West Street will be closed from 8 a.m. Wednesday through 6 p.m. Thursday, according to the city of Covington.

Detours will be in place during the repairs.

CSX is grading the crossings and will replace the cross ties and possibly the rails.
