Fire breaks out in Henry County school bus

MCDONOUGH, Ga. (AP) - The Henry County Fire Department says a school bus caught fire while picking up students on the morning of the first day of school.

Fire officials say the engine fire broke out Monday morning when the bus stopped in a subdivision.

WSB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/oz63B9 ) that Henry fire Capt. Sabrina Puckett says firefighters are still determining the cause of the fire.

She says there were middle and high school students on the bus. Puckett says all the children were evacuated and no one was hurt. Another bus was sent to get them to school.

Puckett says firefighters were able to extinguish the fire.
