RINGGOLD, Ga. - The FBI says a 50-year-old Calhoun, Ga. man has been arrested in Ringgold.

Special Agent in Charge Brian D. Lamkin says Randy Greenway was arrested on Friday by FBI agents and Northwest Georgia Safe Child Task Force officers after coming to the attention of undercover officers on the internet.

Lamkin says Greenway is facing charges of attempted aggravated child molestation after having attempted to meet with a minor child for purposes of having sex.

The FBI says Greenway was met instead by FBI agents and other officers and was arrested.

Lamkin says Greenway has been released on bond.
