Home grown effort: The Porterdale Farmer's Market held it's grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremonies at 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning. Market Manager Helen Weitkamp (left) and City Councilwoman Arline Chapman (right) stated the market had been a tremendous success so far, and had high hopes the market would continue to do well. The market is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.
