NORCROSS - Police in Gwinnett County say an officer shot a man who pulled a gun.

Cpl. Jake Smith of the Gwinnett County Police Department says the shooting occurred Wednesday night outside an apartment complex.

Police say the man was one of a group outside the complex, and the others dispersed as officers approached.

Smith says an officer fired one shot. He says the officers were responding to what he described as suspicious behavior
