GPC tidies up: Sallie Paschal (GPC Math), George Lonberger (GPC Social Sciences), Jeff Meadors (Newton School Board member & GPC English), and Julie Locicero (GPC Honors & Dual Enrollment) organized more than 100 Georgia Perimeter faculty, students and staff to give back to Newton County for the Great American Cleanup 2011.

The group participates in the cleanup multiple times per year as well as in River's Alive.

The group included dual enrollment students and Perimeter students from Walton, Rockdale and Newton counties.
