God has been good to Covington author Joyce Fincher, who has a new inspirational book available online, "He'll Lead You Through Your Sea."

It's her testimony of how God has led her through the darkest times of her life, as well as through the happy times. Fincher believes that she is simply God's vessel through whom he has written the story of her experiences.

"This is God's book, not mine," said Fincher. "I had the honor not only to pen this book but also to be one of the characters. This book displays pain, joy, love, heartache and blessings. Best of all, it magnifies and glorifies our Heavenly Father. What an awesome God we serve!"

Fincher hopes her book will serve as an encouragement and inspiration to readers to hold on to faith through difficult circumstances and experiences. She hopes that readers see her writing as conversational and personal.

"Everyone faces unexpected situations and detours in their lives," said Fincher. "The best way I have found to relate my experiences is to write as if I am talking one-on-one with someone. I feel my writing language should portray my true feelings that occurred in relation to my personal situations and experiences."

After journaling her thoughts, ideas, and inspirations for years, Fincher began to pursue publication of her writing over the last 10 to 15 years. She has written devotionals for "Open Windows," a quarterly devotional published by Lifeway Christian Resources. She has also made speaking engagements over the last few years.

Around the same time that she began writing for Lifeway in 2009, Fincher began feeling God's leading to cull her thoughts from her journals and life experiences into book form.

"Even though God had directed me for many years to journal events, ideas and situations that occurred in my life, He knew that some of these journal entries would be shared one day according to his plan and his timetable," said Fincher.

Now that the book is complete, Fincher is contemplating her next move as an author.

"I do have some ideas and plans for my writing future but I'm not ready to expose them yet," said Fincher. "At the moment, I'm just trying to adjust to the reality of my first book being published and available."

"He'll Lead You Through Your Sea" is available at,, and It will soon be available in stores as well.

Fincher is also available for speaking engagements and will embark on a book tour. For more information, see, call her at (770) 786-5361, or e-mail her at
