Experience the Revolution

A service for teens and young adults, Revolve Church, will have its first session at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at Hebron World Church, 7165 Turner Lake Circle in Covington.

It’s led by the Rev. Jae Soto, who came to Hebron last summer to oversee the teen and young adult ministry. In the first few months, the ministry began to explode as attendance rose dramatically and outgrew its space.

The decision to do something new became both a leap of faith and a logical step.

"I don’t know if I would call it an idea or a forced move of God," said Hebron World Church pastor, Dr. Charles Wallace II. "Our teen church space is becoming too small."

The church sees the new service as an exciting way to reach young people without playing it safe.

"This younger generation is tired of the phoniness and fakeness of traditional church," said Wallace. "This generation questions what we believe to be true as adults. They are seeking their own truths."

Revolve will feature a DJ and worship band, along with dynamic and relevant messages and opportunities for life change.

"Anyone who shows up at Revolve Church can expect a worship encounter like no other," said Wallace. "It is certainly worship at another level. Our prayer is that they will feel welcomed and unrestricted. They can expect their lives to be changed forever."

The kickoff of Revolve Church will include appearances by Bradley Green, Ricardo Flo, and the Griffin Youth Worship Band.
