Quamette Barr and Timothy Brown of Covington announce the birth of their daughter Malaysia A’mari Brown Sept. 28 at Newton Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds and 10 ounces and was 19 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Angela Cobb-Kelley of Social Circle and Ricky Barr Sr. of Covington. Paternal grandparents are Timothy Pitts of Covington and Michelle Brown of Covington.
