Thad Childers and Terri Poss of Oxford announce the birth of their son Jaxon Thad Childers on Aug. 18.

Maternal grandparents are Terry and Nancy Poss of Oxford, Paternal grandparents are Gerald and Mary Jo Childers of Oxford.

Siblings of the newborn are James, Kade, Aiyden and Averie.
