Recycle at the Covington News and all proceeds go to the Newspapers in Education Program

Want to recycle and also help educate Newton County students for free? Then bring your office paper and junk mail to the recycling bin in the back parking lot of The Covington News and all proceeds will go toward the Newspapers in Education program for Newton County students.

The program allows papers to be brought into the classroom for children to learn about social studies, science, geography, math, technology from the most up-to-date textbook available, the newspaper.

Simply bring your paper and junk mail to the big red bin behind our office, 1166 Usher St., across from Ramsey’s Produce. You can bring your mixed office paper and junk mail and we’ll do the rest.

Make a difference in the life of a child and the environment, simply by taking out the trash.
