Annette Harmon of Salem United Methodist Church in Covington was recently honored as Secretary of the Year at the 28th Annual Conference of the Georgia Chapter of the Professional Association of United Methodist Church Secretaries.
Harmon has worked with Salem 12 years and is a certified professional United Methodist Church Secretary. She also has for two years attended the National Institute of Church & Finance Administration at the Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta.
Salem played host to 37 office professionals from across the state at the church secretary conference.
