Take me home: The Newton County Animal Shelter’s pets of the week are two Pekingese, one 3 to 4 years, tan, and the other chocolate and white, neutered. Also available are a Chihuahua mix, brown; a silky terrier, 1 year old, light brown, good on a leash; a black and brown Chihuahua, 2 to 4 yars old; a tan and white 4-year-old Chihuahua; four shepherd/mastiff puppies, all black, another Chihuahua mix, adult; an adult terrier mix, black; a boxer mix, 1 year old, friendly; an adult Lab mix; a Lab mix, small, very sweet; a beagle; a yellow Lab; a black lab mix; a heeler mix, 6 months old, black and white; a Shihtzu, 6 months old, reddish brown.
