Take me home: The Newton County Animal Shelter’s pet of the week is a male, white with chocolate Chihuahua/Terrier mix, about two-years-old. Also available for adoption are a brown, female shepherd mix puppy, about 4-months-old, puppy shots and wormed; a fawn and white, male Chihuahua/Terrier mix puppy, about 10-months-old, puppy shots and wormed; a beige with black, female Shih Tzu, 2-years-old, vaccinated and wormed, ask for Roxie; a white, male poodle mix, 1-year-old, current vaccinations, ask for Max; a brown, male hound/shepherd mix, about two-months-old, puppy shots and wormed; a yellow, female mix canine, about 10-months-old, weighs about 25 to 30 pounds, very sweet, would make a good family dog, vaccinated and wormed; a black, female Boston mix, about 1-year-old, does not like cats, weighs about 25 pounds; a tri-colored, female Australian shepherd/spaniel mix, about 1-year-old, weighs about 30 pounds, vaccinated and wormed; a black mixed with brown, male Malamute mix, about 5-months-old, will weigh about 50 pounds when full-grown, vaccinated and wormed.
