Pet of the Week - March 19

Take me home: The Newton County Animal Shelter’s pet of the week is a Shihtzu, 1 year old, black with white. Also available for adoption are four rat terrier mix, ranging from adult to three months old; two beagle/cocker mix puppies, 3 months old, one black and white, one brown and white; a Jack Russell, two years old; a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix, 2 years old; a 4-month-old shepherd mix; a 3-year-old Lhasa Apso; a poodle mix, 1 year old, white, named Max; a poodle/Schnauzer mix named Molly; an adult Lab mix; an 8-month-old brown and white Lab mix; a 5-month old black and white Lab mix; an adult Husky, named Angel; an adult black Lab named Buckley; a chocolate spaniel, 3 to 4 years old; a brown chow mix; a boxer mix named Minnie; a 2-year-old shepherd, black and tan wearing a choke collar; an 8-month-old Lab mix; a 1-year-old Aussie mix; a basset hound; a 5-year-old beagle; a 5-year-old Lab, a very friendly Sharpie mix; an adult black Lab and other mixed breed dogs. The shelter also has cats and kittens needing good homes.
